PayPal Account Approval in Pakistan

Is it really possible to have an approved PayPal account in Pakistan? This is the question asked so many times on the web and if you do a little research, you will find the answer. The answer i got after doing a little research on web was "Yes it is possible to have an approved PayPal account in Pakistan", but nobody cared to ask which account the person is talking about, a "Personal Account" or a "Business Account". The answer to the question was same on every blog, "Order a Payoneer Card and Get your Paypal Account Approved". If you do not know about payoneer card already, you can read more about it here. So, when they said "Get your PayPal Account Approved with a Payoneer Card", they meant get your Personal Account approved because as far as my research goes it is not possible to have an approved PayPal Business Account in Pakistan. The reason is if you try to sign up for a paypal business account, they will ask you to enter your social security number (ssn) which is a nine digit number assigned to US citizens which you do not have because you are from Pakistan actually so you can't proceed further.



Now the question arises, "What If I Enter Some Other Fake Country Rather Than US?" and the answer is you can't because Payoneer gives you a virtual US bank account number which you can use to link with your PayPal account. You can not select any other country if you are using payoneer card to approve your paypal account. Even if you are through this step which i think is pretty much impossible for a Pakistani citizen, they will still ask you to submit your authentic business registration documents registered with a US address which is next to impossible. So after this much of research, it became crystal clear to me that it is not possible for a Pakistani National to have a PayPal Business Account.



Now let us talk about an approved personal account which i think a lot of people already have in Pakistan. Most of the people have approved their account using Payoneer Card, so if you want to approve your Personal PayPal account, the first thing you need to do is order a Payoneer Card through their official website here. Once you have ordered the card, it will be shipped to your door step in a month or so. Now login your payoneer account and send request to payoneer for receiving payments from US companies. Have a look at the image below:



Click on the button shown in the above image and you will be redirected to US Payment Service page where you will require to submit a simple questionnaire and required documents (a scanned copy of you National ID Card). After submitting the questionnaire and required documents, you will get your US Bank details after a couple of business day. Check the image below:



Once you have your US bank details, you can use this information to approve your PayPal account. Now sign up for a personal paypal account using a fake US address and phone number. After creating your account, paypal will ask you to Link a Bank that's what you need to do. Use the bank details you got from payoneer to link your paypal account to your payoneer account. After successfully linking your US bank account to paypal, paypal will make two small deposits in your bank which will appear in your payoneer account after a couple of business days. You need to verify these deposit amounts to paypal correctly and if you do so, your bank will be verified by paypal. After paypal has verified your bank, you can receive money from paypal into your payoneer account.

Was i able to verify my paypal account?

Yes, i successfully verified my paypal account using my payoneer card only to get limited by paypal after a couple of days. Now the first problem i faced is something i have never heard from anyone on web. After i verified the deposit amounts to paypal, paypal tried to retrieve those amounts back from my bank which my US bank refused to do so my bank was unlinked by paypal and then i received an email from paypal that my account was limited and i need to resolve a few things. PayPal wanted me to verify my address by submitting an address proof like a bank statement, a utility bill or a phone bill with my name on it which was not possible for me so my account is limited once again. Thank God i did not have any funds in my account or else that would have been a worst scenario for me. Despite the fact that a lot of people have approved their PayPal accounts using payoneer card, i must warn you "PayPal is very suspicious and there is always a risk of getting your account limited". So be very very careful with PayPal, if you give them a reason to doubt you they will limit your account immediately.
